Good Friends, Good Times!
Kim-front , Toshia-back, Melissa-front, Patti-back
This week I spent some time working for Victor. Unfortunately I heard that a friend of mine from Laurens died that weekend. So........the only phone number I remember from my childhood (other than my own) is Melissa's. Needless to say she doesn't live there, but her parents do. I called them and left a message for them to have her call me and I left my number. She called and we talked about the friend that had passed away and since I was working in Simpsonville that week, we planned to meet for lunch! She also contacted a couple of our other friends and we all four met for lunch on Friday! I have not seen Kim or Patti in 15 years!! It was great to see them. Melissa and I have seen each other a couple of times. We were the best of friends in elementary school and middle school. Melissa lived across the street from me growing up. However, we lived in the country and across the street meant 1/2 mile up the road! LOL!! We are planning to not wait so long and try to get together every couple of months or so!

Magic Kingdom- Day 2
Day 2 was just as magical as Day 1! We did many different things this day. The boys of our family rode Space Mountain about 5 times that day! They loved all the big rides this year. I can't wait until Emma can ride them all with us! For about 2 months before our trip, all the boys wanted was a turkey leg. So......after about a 45 minute wait, Daddy came through and got them the turkey leg! They loved it! These are memories that will be with us for the rest of our lives!

Emma was so excited to see all the Princess'. We had lunch with them all in Cinderella's Castle and it was amazing! They truly treat you like you are royalty! Emma was amazed by them all and the their costumes. During our lunch, Emma wore her Cinderella costume. She was the most beautiful one there!

Magic Kingdom- 1st Day
THE CASTLE!! It's so magical!
The first day at Magic Kingdom was great! We were scheduled to go to Blizzard Beach, but it was suppose to rain, so we changed our plans. We had a great day!! We decided to cover certain areas one day and the other areas the next day. It was the perfect plan. We were able to do so much more and the kids had a blast. It can't be explained, only experienced!

Getting June's Autograph!
Playhouse Disney Live on Stage!!
On Tuesday we went to MGM - Disney's Hollywood Studies. It was fun because Emma got to see so many of the Playhouse Disney characters. Tanner and Emma danced in the parade too! the boys and Lawrence really like the stunt car show. It started to rain about 2:30. It rained SO hard that we had no choice but to leave. The puddles were ankle deep. It was miserable. The funny thing was- Emma slept through the rain as we were trying to leave. She woke up about the time we were exiting the park. That night we went to the Disney Boardwalk and enjoyed dinner at the ESPN Zone.

Date Night
On Monday night, Debbie and Curt watched our children while we enjoyed a great date night! We had a nice dinner and then enjoyed our favorite game together---Air Hockey! Mommy won the most games! We had another couple take this picture for us and when we looked at I had one of those "ah ha" moments. I realized that I no longer look like I am in my twenties. UGHHH--But all in all it was a GREAT night!

The Tree of Life!
On Sunday we went to Animal Kingdom. This was our least favorite park when we went a few years ago, but it was actually very fun this time. We got to see a couple of shows, ride most of the rides, and barly had to wait. The only problem was it began to rain about 3:30. It rained so hard, that we just went back to the hotel. After we dried off and changed clothes, we went to the Rainforest Cafe dinner!

July 4th at SCC
The July 4th party at Smithfields was actually on Saturday July5. We had a great time swimming, playing games, dancing, and eating. In the first picture you can see the storm that kept coming and going all evening. The kids would get in the pool for 15 minutes and then have to get out for 30 minutes because of the storm. I love the picture of Andrew and Emma posing in the pool. The boys were standing on the edge of the pool because the lifeguards threw in tons of quarters for them to go and find!
